1. Who We Are

Public Safety Simulators, LLC ("PSS360," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PSS360 platform — a suite of AI-powered public safety training simulators — at pss360.net and its associated subdomains. Our principal place of business is 10 Glenlake Parkway, Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30328. Questions about this policy can be directed to info@pss360.net.

2. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to two categories of people who interact with the PSS360 platform:

• Instructors and administrators — individuals at institutions that have signed a contract with PSS360 and who are manually provisioned with instructor-level accounts by PSS360 staff.
• Students (trainees) — individuals who access training sessions through institution-provided magic links or other provisioning mechanisms arranged by their instructor. Students do not create accounts independently.

There is no public self-service registration. Access to the platform is granted exclusively through institutional contracts and instructor provisioning.

3. Information We Collect

3a. Instructor Accounts

When an instructor account is created, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Agency or institution name

No payment or billing information is collected or stored directly by PSS360.

3b. Student Sessions

Students are identified within the platform by a display name provided at the time of provisioning (for example, a name entered by their instructor or passed via institution systems). This name is used solely so instructors can identify whose session they are reviewing. Students may use a pseudonym; the platform places no verification requirement on the name field.

We also collect the following data generated during training sessions:

• Session scores and performance metrics
• Simulation interaction logs (transcripts of AI-generated training scenarios)
• Session timestamps and duration
• Platform token and API usage counts (for operational cost tracking)

We do not collect student email addresses, government identifiers, biometric data, location data, or any financial information from students.

3c. Website Visitors

Our public marketing website does not deploy third-party behavioral analytics, advertising trackers, or retargeting pixels. Standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) may be retained by our hosting provider in the ordinary course of operations.

4. How We Use Information

• To deliver and operate the training platform and its simulators
• To allow instructors to review student session performance and provide coaching feedback
• To generate usage reports and data exports for institutional customers on request
• To monitor platform reliability, diagnose errors, and track operational costs
• To communicate with instructors and administrators about their accounts
• To comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for advertising.

5. AI Providers and Simulation Content

The simulators are powered by third-party AI language model providers. Prompts sent to these providers consist entirely of AI-generated fictional scenario content (simulated callers, simulated subjects, etc.) and do not contain student names, instructor names, or any other personally identifying information. Students interact with the platform under anonymized role designations (e.g., “Officer 211”) rather than their real names.

AI provider processing is governed by each provider’s own terms of service and data processing agreements.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the platform:

• Vercel, Inc. — cloud hosting and infrastructure. Processes application data in the ordinary course of serving requests.
• Neon, Inc. — managed PostgreSQL database hosting. Stores application data on our behalf.

We do not share personal information with any other third parties except where required by law or with the written consent of the applicable institution.

7. Data Retention

• Session scores and interaction data — retained for 90 days from the date of the session, then deleted.
• Aggregate usage and cost metrics (token counts, API usage) — retained indefinitely for operational and billing reconciliation purposes. These records are not linked to individual student identities.
• Instructor account data — retained for the duration of the institutional contract and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes.

Institutions may request an export of all data associated with their account, or request deletion, by contacting info@pss360.net.

8. Access to Student Data

Student session data is accessible to the following parties:

• The student’s assigned instructor(s)
• PSS360 administrators and authorized employees, for support and operational purposes
• The contracting institution, upon request or via available export tools

9. Children

The platform is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a user under 13 has been provisioned access, contact us at info@pss360.net and we will take appropriate action.

Students between 13 and 18 access the platform through their educational institution. Institutions are responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consents required under applicable law in their jurisdiction prior to granting access.

10. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will provide notice to institutional contacts via email.
